Everything you will need to know to book a rewarding Newborn Photography Session with Debra from Tiny Toes Photography
How old should my baby be?
Ideally your baby should be between 7 - 14 days to allow for those sleepy photos we all adore. Much older babies are still suitable for Newborn photos, expect to achieve more awake photos. Sessions are held Mon - Fri at 10.30am
Do you hold sessions on a weekend?
One Saturday a month is held for photography sessions, an extra $50 fee is charged above the existing session fee to cover this.
How long does a Newborn Session take?
Newborn Sessions are very calm and relaxed and take from between 2 - 4 hours. The amount of time all depends on how well baby settles on the day.
How much does a Newborn Photography Session cost?
A Standard Newborn Photography Session fee is $150. This includes everything that is needed on the day, props, fabrics, wraps, bonnets and headbands. Photos are then uploaded to your online Gallery for you to choose your favourites. A Collection is then purchased separately. Collections start at $550. Can we have a family photo during the session?
Yes of course, we actually encourage parents and siblings to have their photos taken with the new baby during our Standard Newborn Photography Session.
Can we purchase only digital photographs
We only provide digital photographs as part of a Collection. We are big believers that photographs should be printed and enjoyed every day. All Collections come with a certain number of digitals that are provided on a custom made USB as well as some form of Wall Art for you to enjoy.
How long do we have to wait for our online Gallery
Editing your beautiful photos to a professional standard takes many hours of work. Allow approximately 2 - 3 weeks for your online Gallery to be ready for viewing.
